I found my passion for search engine optimization as a full time career in 2004 for a startup agency directing a team of optimizers. I eventually moved to Classmates.com as the in-house SEO Manager. My career has been focused primarily as an in-house SEO. My most recent roles as Director of Online Marketing and VP of Interactive Marketing I branched not only into paid search, social media marketing, but managed all of the online marketing including the email, viral, and affiliate programs for companies such as Concur Technologies, Smartsheet, and Winshuttle.
After speaking at several conferences and other search marketing related events I found a passion for the Search Insider Summit in 2007 and I organized the in-house track for the December 2008 Search Insider Summit in Park City, UT with Dan Perry (Turner Networks).
I started Wappow! with Jeff Canham of Prestige Resorts in 2009 and as a result am now putting together the Search and Social Woot! and Emerging Media Woot!. Both conferences being held in Hawaii Fall of 2010 and 2011 with plans for 5 conferences in 2011.
